How do I volunteer?
We are enthusiastic about providing a library which meets the demands of our thriving communities around the Chew Valley and we have created a wonderful warm place that offers a friendly welcome to both volunteers and visitors.
We have a range of responsibilities: library duties; checking books in and out; filing; serving in our cafe; making coffee and bacon sandwiches.
Chew Valley Library is entirely staffed by volunteers. Whether you can give up a few hours a week, fortnight or month, you can be assured of the full support of others around you with the additional support from Banes.
