A warm welcome awaits you at our popular cafe , which offers a place and space for people to meet up with friends and family.
You can browse through a book over a coffee or simply enjoy a slice of delicious cake supplied by our local New Manor Farm shop.
Our regular cake flavours include the ever popular Chocolate, Coffee and Walnut and Butterscotch, to name but a few. On Saturday mornings we also serve Bacon Sandwiches along with Cheese Toasties.

We serve a selection of coffee styles using locally sourced beans from Bristol Twenty. Come in and enjoy a Cappuccino, Americano, Latte or Flat White.
Alternatively, choose from a selection of Speciality Teas or indulge yourself in a mug of Hot Chocolate – with marshmallows as an extra treat. We also serve squash and biscuits for our younger visitors.

Our cafe is staffed by friendly volunteers and as a not for profit organisation we offer competitive prices.
We look forward to seeing and serving you soon.
Cyclists welcome – see our news page.

The library also supports the BillyChip®️ scheme, a local homeless charity set up by the family of Billy Abernethy-Hope, a twenty year old Chew Valley resident. Billy tragically lost his life in a road accident in 2018 whilst backpacking in Thailand. The scheme has the help of Arthur David Food with Service, another local firm and featured on National TV. You can buy a BillyChip®️ for £2 with cash or card, pop it in your purse and donate it to someone sleeping rough, they can then redeem it for food and drink from participating outlets at a time that benefits them. So pick up a BillyChip®️ next time you pop into the cafe. To find out more visit billychip.com.
