Summer Reading Challenge 2025

How it works:
- Visit the library and tell us your child would like to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge. Aimed at children aged 4-11 years. There is also a Mini Challenge for 3-year-olds.
- One of our volunteers will sign up your child and give them a collector folder. Your child will set a reading goal.
- Your child can borrow and read books, eBooks and audiobooks for their Challenge. They can read anything they like!
- Call into the library and collect stickers as they complete the challenge. For children completing the challenge they will receive a certificate and medal. For children taking part in the mini challenge they receive a golden sticker! We usually hold a medals award ceremony at the library in September.
- On Thursday afternoons we will be holding free craft sessions with activities linked to the story garden theme. See our programme of activities below.
More information can be found here – Summer Reading Challenge 2025. We look forward to seeing you all.
